Discovery Cove is a mixture of adventure, discovery, relaxation and fun!
Here you can swim with bottlenose dolphins, snorkel among thousands of fish and wade among the rays as they glide past.
While the main focus of Discovery Cove is swimming with the dolphins (and that is the highlight of the trip) there is a lot more including a relaxing lazy river that meanders through the bird aviaries and waterfalls.
You can snorkel among thousands of tropical fish too. This is really amazing as you move around reefs, rocks and colorful fish. And the best part is you can go back and do it again as many times as you would like!
Another great and amazing experience is going in the rays pond as this beautiful animals glide by you and sometimes touch you. And at feeding time, you might be allow to feed them to, but be warned make sure your thumb is tucked inside your fist. This was really cool and it is open all day too.
And then there is the Discovery Cove bird aviaries, yes I typed bird aviaries. You can touch, feed and hang out with a variety of colorful tropical birds.
Discovery Cove has really done a great job in making the swimming with dolphins a wonderful event and they build the type of environment that allows you to make the most of your time and really enjoy your entire day. |
